Inflatable water skis are made of PVC, nylon cloth, glue and air. The main material, perhaps everyone has heard of it, is called “drop-stitich” brushed air cushion material. This material allows the wakeboard to be shaped accordingly and is strong when inflated. This kind of technology was first used by Koreans to make inflatable beds, inflatable swimming pools and hot water barrels. This material comes in different thicknesses and has different transport capabilities. Place the brushed air cushion material on the ground, cut it according to the template, and then glue the edges with PVC to form an air bag. Dig out the air valve port, press the air valve, and then the board can be inflated with an air pump. The next thing to talk about is making boards of different shapes. The most common methods are heat and pressure. Another method is to cut the head and tail of the board into different shapes and then glue them to PVC. Adding an extra layer of PVC can make the board and edges stronger, but it also adds weight. Generally speaking, inflatable boards are handmade, which is why the quality of boards of different brands or even the same brand will vary.
